A comprehensive technical studies were conducted by Balıkesir University Energy Management and Sustainability Coordinator to evaluate and improve the energy performance of our university.
Thermal performance of building and installation components with internal and external lighting systems, boiler and heating systems, pump and electric motors within the scope of work. Thermal camera applications were evaluated to reduce energy losses through field measurements and system inventory and to process existing systems more efficiently.
With prepared technical reports; increasing energy efficiency, efficient use of resources, development of user comfort and supporting sustainable campus targets. In accordance with the findings obtained, short, medium and long-term improvement areas were determined and a corporate data infrastructure for the energy management processes of our university was created.
Detailed technical content of reports will be used as decision support tool in investment, maintenance, operation and energy management work of our university.
Balıkesir University will continue to monitor and improve energy performance in line with environmental responsibility and sustainability principles.
